This guy (or gal) is letting his/her right talon
hang below the branch it is resting on. In the
full size image I can clearly see that the talon
is loosely clenched, but not grasping on to anything.
I've never seen a eagle photo with a leg hanging
down like this and I wasn't able to find out from
the Internet if this is normal. Hopefully this is
not an injury.
