Lone Church

Vik, Iceland

The often photographed church in Vik, Iceland. This is mostly seen when shot from the other side with the mountains in the background, but we did not have time to do that. I did like the way the light was hitting it from the west when we arrived.

Excellent image on the borders of the shadow and the light. The church, in great light, with vibrating red and white colors, stands out wonderfully on the delicate beauty of the watercolor sky . BV.
