Went to see this bridge with my parents in 1952 ...... Took my kids in 1972 ..... Best decision of my life .... What memories ./

When working in Colorado in 1989 I visited Royal Gorge, it was breath taking and your pictures bring it all back, fabulous

I used a Nikon D70s with various lenses, but for most landscapes I use a 50mm 1.8 sometimes with a circular polarizer but for the closer work I used a 70-300 at F5.6.

As Ann said, nice natural and man made wonders. Do people bungee jump from this bridge? It looks like it would be ideal for such a jump!

Never heard of Canon City until this week - Alex Lester, a BBC Radio2 presenter is taking a month off to traverse the states and called in at this place.
