More Luck Than Judgement!

With it being Beth's first birthday I decided to buy Melissa a 55-200VR for her D50 so she could snap
away for our long weekend off together. This was a quick test shot on an extremely overcast day, which
was a benefit to reduce the harsh lighting. For a quick snap I was pleased with the result, but have
to emphasize that it was a quick snap and a LOT of luck. If anyone is contemplating this lens or has
an 18-55 they want to add to I would highly recommend the 55-200VR. Some close up filters reduce the
focal length to a foot with a field of view of about 4 inches. I know you can get better but it'll be
for substantially more!!

I can honestly vouch for that quick snap as we were on web-cam when Dave nipped out to take it!! Luck? -well yes,but sometimes you make your own luck.This is a really superb shot with everything right about it and also a very good advert for that 55-200VR! May that luck always be with you, Dave!
