Nice comp John! In 1948, at 16 yrs old, I joined the Marine Corp. Reserves at Grosse Isl, MI at the old Naval Air Base there. At the time I was taking an aeronautical coarse at Cass Technical High School in Detroit. What year did you make that trip? Do you still live in the area? -Al Gasso

This is a great image...I too would like to see the face portion blended better into the other colors so it takes that sharp edge away.

Ilove it - is there a tear in your eye? All those 'not perfect' photo's that we have all kept - what a blessing that we are pack rats. Dig out the photo's that really mean something to you and make it portray a personal story, AND great art! thanks - randy

I Like It !!!!
only thing I would have done different is to
soften the dark edges around the face image to fade
into the background, but that's just my idea
great idea and work ......
