Did you remove the cheesy plants
this courtyard is famous for?

Nice black and white shot with nice patterns. :)

As a student of everything and master of nothing can I still give an A?
Tough lighting, would like a little more contrast to make it pop a bit more (totally subjective suggestion)

Oh man...a totally serious gallery, ok.

Wonderful building!

You've certainly given yourself a tonal range challenge here, works though, looks like a good place to be.

As others have said, this is a nice study of light and shade. I think the mixture of straigt and curved; horizontal, diagonal and vertical is very effectove. Nice job holding the cloud detail in the sky as well.

As an OLD photographer of Balboa Park I would have to say that the black and white toning and capture of the play of light and shadows is excellent work. Aplus.

Nice Balboa Park shot

As an OLD mechanical drawing teacher I would have to say that I like the perspective
All of the lines on the right and left are going to a common vanishing point
Interesting that the diagonal shadow almost perfectly bisects the rectangle on the far courtyard wall
very nice image, Gary A+

I love the Spanish influence of your image, Gary. I'm looking in the shadows for Zorro, but... ;>)

Love the mixture of lines and curves here. The b&w adds a lot of drama to this, as well. Nicely seen!
