I bought this at a "Pampered Chef" party. It is clamped to a counter and you push an apple on it so you can crank the handle and peel and spiral cut it. In theory, it sounds wonderful. In actuality, it's a bit of a bear. I just couldn't get it not to wiggle. In retrospect now that my caramelized apple tart is finished, next time I will use one of those apple wedge cutters that you press down on the apple.
