If you ever want to test your sanity, try photographing Warblers. Today I spent 10 hours for 5 birds! They are the first birds that got me interested in bird watching and they move around so much that it is not easy to see them, especially for beginners. Like beautiful jewels twinkling their way through the thickets, they are a welcome sign that spring is underway.
I could have got a pair of Blackburnians but a turkey hunter came up behind me and scared us all. I guess I'm even now for the couple times my 2 dogs have blown their cover in the hedge rows!
