Most of my time growing up was spent drawing, all the time, all kinds of things. A family friend who was a painter (Ivan Lendl) used to come to the lake where I grew up and he gave me advice one day. As I sat entranced at the fact that this true artist was about to give me advice, he drew a little something on a napkin and gave it to me. Underneath the picture, he wrote, "don't ever stop drawing".

Eventually life stepped in, and boys, horses, and then work, and then other ways to create art...I stopped. This is all I have left of my collection of drawings. Please feel free to critique but bear in mind that I did these quite awhile ago!

His advice is golden. If you are out there drawing on a daily basis, don't stop!!!
