Woman at the Church

Valladolid, Yucatan, Mexico

She was holding station at the gate into the church plaza with her hand out. I managed to get her permission for a few shots with gestures and a smile. Then I gave her 20 pesos which she was suprised by the amount and grateful for.

This old woman has bags of character doesn't she, looks like she has had a hard life with the deep inset eyes to the scars on her arm. Great Shot!
