Images with ".jpg" in lower case are BASIC-quality JPEG files from the D70's RAW+Basic capture mode.These are the review or proof-type files that are I think,designed to be viewed as proofing and editing files seen in slide show mode. These 3008x pixel wide images _all_ look like crap on pBase when viewed at any size, but if you download them and look at them using FinePix Viewer, Irfanview,Graphic Converter,or some other type of slide show application, they look pretty good on-screen as editing tools to evaluate the .NEFs by. A very few photos here are in-camera 6MP JPEGs,and are noted by ".JPG" in all-caps.
