Three Shires Head

Three Shires Head is where the three counties of Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire all meet. It is also the meeting point of four pack-horse trails. These were 40 to 50 horses long! The juggernauts of their day. No wonder they had to widen the bridge
