GPS 2F-5 (Delta 4) February 20, 2014

After a short delay due to solar radiation levels, a United Launch Alliance Delta 4 rocket blasts off at 8:59 p.m. from launch pad 37B, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

The rocket is on a mission to deploy the Air Force's fifth Block 2F navigation satellite for the Global Positioning System and flying in the Medium+ (4,2) configuration with two solid rocket boosters.

Images taken from Port Canaveral - about 8.5 miles away.
