Fez, or Fes, was the capital of Morocco for more than 400 years. Now this city is most famous for its medina (old town), crowded with inhabitants, shops, narrow and winding alleys, the curious tourists, and occasionally the mules passing through as the delivery guys for the human beings.
While exploring through the medina, we had to follow the local guide without making a stop, otherwise we might get lost. The highlight was the visit to Attarin (or Attarine) Madrasa (or Medersa) which served as a school plus a public centre for the community life.
