The side-trip to Telouet Kasbah was optional. Those who did not sign up for this excursion had a relaxing morning and jioned us at noon time at midway to Marrakech. It was the most scenic day as we were riding the bus through the most breathtaking part of the Atlas Mountain.

Before reaching the kasbah, we made a stop at a village house where we were warmly received by a kind and sweet lady who served us with mint tea and local snacks. Telouet Kasbah was nothing but a ruin when we looked at it from the outside. But after we climbed up the steep staircases and saw the elegant interior of the rooms, we were simply stunned.
