Out of This World

Images of the night sky. Most of these will list the scope used in the comments. The main scopes for the photos will be a 5" f/6.0 Mak Newt and an OffAxis 130mm f/8.0 reflector. The purpose of these photos are to closely show what can easily be seen through telescopes. At present, I am not doing any long exposure work of DSOs.

Actually the ones from 2004 are shot about 30 feet from a street light. The solar system and some open clusters are fairly easy from unban settings.

Very cool gallery. You must have a good place to shoot from. It seems like we have so much light pollution in southeastern Michigan anymore, you barely get a starry night.
