Sculpture of the Korean War Memorial (constructed after the Viet Nam Memorial but before the WWII Memorial - go figure.) I believe the sculpture represents soldiers on night patrol in the area of the Choisan Resevour. The faces of the soldiers are even more ghostly than the figures themselves. Very moving -- as are all three of these war memorials, each in its own way. Perhaps made even more so because of the scores of veterans visiting each at any given time of day or night.
PS - Crop. Extract figures from background. Lower brightness and contrast of background. Tweak levels (blue). USM. Frame.
