We are now one (possibly two) legs of the journey from the major satellite city of Penrith, which
with a population of over 178,000 people, is more than twice as populous as the whole of the Blue
Mountains. It is part of Greater Sydney. At Blaxland, we are now reckoned to be within 63 kilometres
of the Sydney GPO.
