Mr. Sparti and friends

My favorite teacher at Clover Ave. - maybe of all the teachers I've ever had.

I think Tim Johnson, a very cool kid, is on the left (Mr. Sparti's right).

I'am Mickey Lerner, we lived 5 houses south of Barbara. Sorry Barbara, no brother or sister for me. I beleve Carol Paganelli, who lived next door to me did a lot of sitting for the neighborhood kids. She was also Joe Pagenilli's cousin. I dont remember our wedding, but it sounds good to me. I do remember that you moved though, and your little sister. Its great to releive some of these great old memories!!

Barbara Dorman. I lived next door to Mickey Learner on Kelton Ave. Jill McPeak was my best friend. She had two sisters, Julie & Laurie, an older brother, and maybe a younger one. Mickey had an older sister who used to babysit me and my sister Jackie. Mickey was my first boyfriend, I think we dressed as bride and groom for Halloween one year. Joel Axelrod lived around the block and I used to ride my bike over to his house. I remember being nuts about Mr. Sparti and have a vivid memory of him carrying me on his shoulders at recess one day. We moved from Kelton Ave. to Corinth and I went to Daniel Webster Jr. Hi. Does anyone know have info on Jill?

I was at Clover K thru 6th Grade along with Mitch Sperling, who referred me to your site.
In the photo "Kids with Student Teacher" kneeling third from left is Howard Newcomb. He and his brother Dave were
our neighbors on Greenfield Ave (we lived at 2716).
In " Mr Sparti and Friends", Right of Mr Sparti is, I believe, Richard Williams, our next door neighbor on Greenfield,
who had two sisters, Penny and Heather. They were English. It has been my lifelong disappointment that I was
assigned Miss Perlmutter for kindergarten instead of Mr. Sparti! Both my older siblings Chuck and Carol had
had Mr. Sparti and and raved about him to me. GREAT to see these pictures, thanks to Mitch Sperling for telling me about the site. His cousin Joel still looks about the same as his photo, no flat top though.
