After we returned from our afternoon field locations, Ken gave a informative and entertaining lecture at the El Castell Motel indoor pool, which included a showing of some of his photographs to illustrate the topics he covered.

You can't see it, but he's bolted to the chair, which in turn is super-glued to the tile, to keep him from drifiting up to the ceiling, if not off the topic. (In truth, those who have heard him know Ken is an excellent speaker).

You know I was only playing Dave. The Vivid was only one of the many great things Stacy and I learned last year on your Sierra trip , but it does not work great with skin tones. We were hoping to be able to do this trip with you guys but we spent 4 days backpacking and shooting in the Sierras again. Hope to do another trip with you and Ken soon.

Tough lecture series! If the comments of the presentation make the listeners uncomfortable, they merely flip the presenter backwards into the pool. Is that a life jacket Rockwell is wearing?

I think Ken was just hot under the collar. :-) Or it might be the crazy mix of different kinds of light. Hmmm.........perhaps I'll tone this one down a bit (Ken does recommend switching out of "vivid" mode when photographing people).
