Es Calo

The lovely Formenteran fishing village of Es Calo, with its little harbour - often used as a village swimming pool, and relaxed beaches Ses Platjetes - popular with naturists.
This is as unspoiled as it gets - many visitors return year after year. Truly THE 'coolest place to chill'.

Brian, thanks for your message. The woodland holiday homes picture was taken from the top terrace of Ses Basses de S'Aigua, and the villa visible in the trees in the centre of the picture is one of the Campanitx villas. The others are hidden by trees. More information on these can be found on the Astbury Formentera site at www.formentera.co.uk. Thanks again, Dave.

Enjoyed your shots of Formentera.We are planing to return for the fourth time next June, having stayed at Mitjorn and Cala Saona before. This time it is to be a villa in Es Calo. Tried to identify it in your shots-possibly in the woodland holiday homes one-but difficult to be sure. Where did you stay?
Interested also to see the shots of Pollensa. We too have had a villa there !
