Ah, another bright sunny day! I cannot believe the run of great weather we are having this past week! After work I drove up to Cat’s were I spent a few hours washing and waxing my new Jeep while she took a well deserved nap. There’s something very Zen and cathartic about taking care of your vehicle. I found myself in a most relaxed and happy state of mind… I can’t explain it really.

After I was finished I waited for the sun to dip lower and the lighting to change. While it was a bright sunny day, it was also ery harsh and severe light to shoot in. Eventually I headed in my newly waxed jeep and drove to a nearby pond to shoot. While I know Canadian geese, Branta Canadensis,are some of the most photographed birds I still wanted to catch them in this golden light.
