I thought I would try and learn a little bit about using the polarizing filter I bought last June but only used last June. It’s a cheap, general brand filter, so it tends to make for soft photos and often interferes with my focus I have noticed. I thought I would at least take it over to Phipps and see if I could get at least one nice shot of the coi in their orchid room pond. Well, I don’t think I did get one good shot but since it’s all I did shoot, it’s my PAD for today. One good thing was that I noticed a couple of people outside by the lilyponds with nice camera equipment. I went out and spoke to them. One was a photography teacher and he gave me a good tip about using polarizers. I may just take his class in the fall.
