I spent the day, which was beautiful, at work. As soon as I was able I was out the door and heading North. It’s the last night I have to spend alone before Cat returns from her trip with her mother. I so look forward to seeing her tomorrow. As I drove around looking for places to hike into, looking for a shot, I couldn’t help but feel how much I miss her. While it is nice to be able to rove the countryside looking for that one good image for the day, it’s also great to share the experience with someone.

Oh, these are White-tailed Deer, Odocoileus virginianus. I was lucky enough to encounter. Note the male, or buck, with his new antlers covered in velvet. Also note the flies buzzind around...LOL
