Saturday was spent cleaning up the mess I had mentioned on Friday the 17th. What a disaster! I was able to get in a repair man for the pumps and also a disaster cleanup crew to come in and do some serious damage control. Before they showed up I spent 3 hours using a carpet cleaner to suck up only a ˝ gallon at a time. When they showed up they had a machine that took up around 100 gallons in a little over an hour! Now the place is drying out and the next phase is set to begin… damn… I hate houses sometimes…
What was really frustrating for me was the weather. It was the first truly nice day in a while. The skies where wonderfully blue. The humidity was low to nothing. It was cool and sunny… and I was in a basement and not out taking photos…
By the time I was done with everything it was almost 7PM. I jumped in the Z and headed out!
As I drove I ended up at Hopp’s Switchback Raceway where they have dirt track races with jumps. These little kids where flying around the track and going off the jumps at amazing speeds for kids so small! LOL I thought it was grand!
