Carnegie Museum of Natural History

Winter just will not let go of Pittsburgh. It’s very cold outside and we’re getting a lot of icy snow and rain. What a wonderful combination! The month of March has traditionally been the longest and most painful month for me to get through. I just want to feel warm again and enjoy sunlight! LOL Anyway, this is the butterfly garden here at the museum, frozen again. I was outside testing out the new rain cover I designed for my 10D. It worked pretty well, keeping the camera perfectly dry.

Lovely image. Looks like the site of an old ruin. That rain cover is very nice. I'll have to follow your instructions when I finally get a DSLR.

Actually Anna, the little black specs are the shadows of the ice...it really stinks. I have to drive downtown in this crap tonight to present my final project...

The black specks in the snow come from pollution. A city shot, but nice.

A wonderful composition... looks like an icy snow. We're getting snow right now in Detroit too. I moved here in March... moved from full blown spring in Alabama to another month of winter in Michigan. Spring takes forever to arrive some years. Thinking warm thoughts for ya.

Very nice Ron...I sympathize, am also dying for an end to the cold but luckily here in Amsterdam it seems to be getting a wee bit warmer...And, I'm intrigued by your 10D rain cover!
