This Gigapan stretched the limits of the system in several ways: The height of the tripod could have been about a foot taller to clear the railing at the lookout.
Setting the horizontal ref point was difficult because of the depth of the view downwards into the gorge.
The batteries were not giving their full power output because of the freezing temps.
