Julie Nix, my favorite sister-in-law ran the Groovy Girls II triathalon in Alexandria, La. on 8/26/07. Julie finished first in her age group (50-54 year old hens). Bridget Gatz a cousin also ran and finished third in her age group (25-29 year old chicks)

The series is designed for beginners that want to make her tri debut or those that want a tune up for an upcoming race. Groovy Girls II is consists of a 500 yard open water swim, 15 mile bike and 3 mile run!
