I have one coming to my back yard humming bird feeder in Harlingen, TX. He has been here almost a week now.

Saw this guy at our hummer feeder just now but ours is more of a yellow orange on his breast. Beautiful bird. We live in Spring Branch in the Hill Country & haven't seen this guy in the last 15 years. A welcome site...

I saw mine for the first time here in port lavaca texas three days ago and he has been drinking out of my hummingbird feeder every since. I just decided to research today to find out what it was. It is beautiful.

I have one at 10:10 AM in my back yard at Washington on the Brazos! I've never seen one here before in 17 years! He's trying to get into the hummingbird feeder. Thanks for your website!

First time seeing one. Not very often I see a new bird around. Just saw one on 7/18/11 drinking nectar from turk's cap & drinking from bird bath. He's a litte shy to a new area, but fun to see here in Joshua.

There are three males, a female (at least one), and a juvenile male in our rural yard in Webberville. They are quite beautiful. They are not eating at the bird feeders, but are playing in the water and birdbaths.

Just watched one in the back yard being chased by a mockingbird! Beautiful bird. Never seen one before.

I believe this is the bird that I saw on my fence on the west end of Galveston Island this Saturday morning. Beautiful and really vibrant orange on it's breast.
