These White-fronted Parrots were a real treat on the first day of our Costa Rica trip earlier this month. We were heading back to the lodge at the end of the day when we spotted them on the side of the road. Once we stopped and started watching what was going on we were treated to some interesting courtship behavior with the male regurgitating food for the female and then rubbing beaks together in what resembled a kiss.
