Yesterday while out looking for birds around the Texas City Dike this Double-crested Cormorant popped up right next to us with a large fish. It happened so fast I was surprised I was able to get a shot off but was sure glad I did. What was even more impressive was that the cormorant swallowed it in only a couple of seconds.
