A PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES IS A GROUP OF PHOTOGRAPHS SHARING A COMMON SUBJECT OR THEME THAT TELL A STORY. Open to all CVCC Members: November 14, 2012 - January 11, 2013 1. Entries should be 'fresh images', taken between November 14, 2012 and January 11, 2013. You may post or change your images to this gallery at any time during these dates. 2. Number of images: A series may consist of no less than 3 and no more than 4 images Each member may post up to 7 series during the challenge. 3. To create a unified look images within the same series should be either all monochrome or all colour; use a standard format; be cropped to the same size; be shot with the same camera. 4. Digital manipulation is encouraged 5. Refer to the information on the CVCC Club website (secure login/Club Activities/PBase/PBase Activities) for subject ideas, including a printable document with the competition guidelines. 6. Number and name each image within a series as follows: Photographer's Initials - Series 1-7 - image 1-4 - descriptive title I.E.: RE - Series 1 - image 1 - yellow flower RE - Series 1 - image 2 - glass vase RE - Series 1 - image 3 - yellow flower in glass vase Images must be correctly numbered and named, and you must be listed as the artist. 7. Posting size...MAXIMUM size of 800 pixels wide for landscape view or 700 high for vertical. Reduce file size to around 180K if possible. Very large files will be compressed. Images not identified or titled will be removed. 8. No prizes are awarded for this challenge, it's about the learning, having fun, and the camaraderie with other participants. Take a few minutes to check out all the images, please comment on at least some of them, and most important of all...HAVE FUN!!!
