Revised Statement of Rules Broken: (1) No fuzzyness around objects, and (2) Detail in shadows.
Works Because: (1) Fuzzy shadows, especially the trees on the left (made fuzzy by blowing in the wind during long exposure),
provides a degree of contrast with the sharpness of the circles of light, forcing the eye into the center of the light, and
(2) That which is in shadows (a large percentage of the image) adds nothing of interest to the image on its own right,
but it does serve to break the circle and give depth to the image.
