Broken rules: Composition rules and large area of empty space
Main subject is all the way in the corner. I hope there is no rule like "corner composition" :)

I took this shot during an uneasy emotional time period of my life.
I carefully included/planned every detail.
I was trying to convey this message while making this image.

Corner heavy composition with empty/dark space:
The world around me is dark and empty. I am alone.
Although the little corner that I own is lighted and I am very protective about it.

Other details:
The softness of the goose-dawn blanket suggests that even though my world is dark, it is not filled with physical-hardships.
I do have comforts/luxury in my life.
That is why I did not sit on the floor in this shot.
Grown beard suggests the detachment from the rest of the world (i don't grow beard regularly).
Crossed legs and arms suggest that I am very protective and possessive about my little corner.
I am not open to the rest of the world.
Angry face and tensed muscles convey that I will protect my corner at any cost.
They also portray the internal struggle and frustration.
