Thanks Tomi mate:-)
nice one brissie mate.
Thanks Maurice:-) I think it's just a matter of taking what looks good to you through the viewfinder & not worrying about any rules. Even though half the time what looks good may conform to the so called rules.
Nice, I like the depth that is achieved, from the cloud formations and the vertical crop! I would never have thought of that! its inspiring! its great how we can learn from these challenges!
Thanks Carole & Lee:-)
While the sky is really nice, my favorite part of this image is the beach and the water. Well done Rod! :-) CJ
You have posted three great shots for this challenge. Well done!
Thanks Mary Anne & Tommy:-) I feel good now:-)
Giving another lesson in B&W land(sea)scape photography, eh, Rod? Aside from some cooperation from your down under sky, what makes this work for me is the full, balanced spectrum of grays and grand composition that presents the cosmic sweep of the earth, sea and sky in appropriate proportions. I agree with Aamm. -tv
Even warmed, it has an ominous feeling to it. Good work, Rod.
Thanks Troy, Doug & Tom:-) The missus wasn't so sure about this picy so I used a warming filter to make it a bit more girly. She obviously wasn't impressed wiv that either as I have to do the cooking to night:-)
Very dramatic! Love the B&W.
Very strong. Like a tag team of nature with the sky and water. -COAmature
Yes, the sky is quite impressive. It looks like it could be full of something - rain, freezing rain, snow? Looks COLD!
Thanks Brent & Aamm:-) It's hard to know with this flu if anything looks OK or not but if Aamm mentions the Ahrt word I'm happy:-)
Wow mate, you are getting into art territory.
Nice conversion Rod- the sky looks quite impressive. Looks like a cold wintery day?
