Dalton, MA.

My 2 year old granddaughter having fun. This started out as a setup for a club competition, but then she started painting her own face and having a ball! :)

Wonderful shot of an adorable child- great shot Henry! I can't say anything about color cast or brightness on this or the Geisha shot as I have the same problem as you with my laptop - change the angle of the screen and you change the look of the image, so I also want to get a good monitor to hook up to my laptop. Regardless, this is very cute! CJ

Really cute, Henry! You are lucky to have such a willing and sweet model so readily available! ~Sharon

Maybe you should buy all of us laptops like your and then we'll all see it the way it's meant to be seen! :)

But seriously, this is a great picture of a precious little girl! Wonderfully done! -Christina

Thank you Rod & Jano. I'm going to have to hook this laptop up to a regular monitor. I think part of my problem is that if the angle of the laptop screen varies, even by a little bit, the brightness changes. I can see what the others are saying about the Geisha shot if I angle my screen in a certain direction, and what Jano says if i put it in another, but when it's where I normally look at it, they both look just like I want them to. ???? - Henry

I can only smile when I look at this - too precious. My only nitpic is that it could use a little bit of fill light, or perhaps even a curve adjustment to bring out the face more. The eyes are great but the face could use a bit of brightening. jano

I have to smile, what a bust but looks well worth the mess. Too precious!

Thank you very much. It's my favorite, too, (not too impartial! :) ) but it didn't do as well as the other two recently, in our local camera club's competition. - Henry

Priceless!

All three are nice but this is my favorite. I don't know too much about portrait work, but this grabs attention. Those eyes!! shu
