Now this is a HIGH IMPACT image...literally! Love the motion captured here!

Great job! I do like it more now :)

I found the numerous flash marks distracting and now more focus is on the numbers and colors.

Thanks, jano and techo for the suggestions. Here's a modified version trying to incorporate those suggestions. The "noise" was actually dirt on the felt. PSing the flash off the balls was tedious. I'm not sure I like it as much, but here it is for comment -- RoyBob

Really fun! This gives new meaning to "behind the 8 ball" - and in front and on the sides! I especially like the repeated numbers. Good work! ~Sharon

Splendid idea! (*)if I may suggest you resize the pic so the viewer doesn't have to scroll around to see the whole picture. I find when lots of scrolling is needed to view a photo some of the impact of the shot gets lost. Especially an action shot like this one. Yes one can just click the "large" view but the pbase resize isn't known to be very good. Also a little noise reduction/cleanup on those darker areas at the bottom of the pic.

This is really great! Sometimes you get the best shot on the first try. Good one! Ann C

This is simply a fantastic capture and yes, the black felt really completes this shot. I would probably put this back in pp and clone out some of the spots within the image to make this perfect! Lucky you for capturing this! jano

Thanks... This was actually a test shot for the strobe. The cue was hand rolled, so there wasn't much velocity. If you've ever miscue on a break, its a similiar result. The dozen shots that followed weren't very good at all (eight ball moved alot). Of course, the black table felt was very helpful. -RoyBob

Just about the best billiards shot I've ever seen. Truly stunning!
