Britt, you have a fine imagination, once you said it... I could easily imagine the snow piles as clouds. The halo you might be speaking of is I think a side effect of the jpeg compression, the file size is about 33kb which is kind of small for a photo, even for one without much fine detail.

What a great shot - and he's wearing RED pants, how perfect. LOL - I don't even know anybody that owns red pants ;-)
Anabela, this really does give a sense of being alone, and the position of the person adds to that feeling, almost as if he is about to remove himself even farther. It's a perfect example of how "rules" (you know, the much-touted "rule of thirds") are meant to be broken, at least in the right hands. Very nice.

Okay, that totally didn't make any sense. Halo and sharpness. UGh....I do need to go back to bed. My eyes are playing tricks on me when I look at him. That's all I'm trying to say.

It kind of looks like he's skating on clouds at first glance. I don't know if it's because of the low res or what but it seems a bit too sharp or if there is a halo around the skater? Or do I need to go back to bed and get more rest?
