Panama (NP) - Panama boasts a mixture of eras and architectural periods. Casco Viejo, the Old Quarter, is the second city, built after the first one (Panama la Vieja) was burnt to the ground to try and preclude Sir Henry Morgan to loot it.
He did, anyway, and five centuries later a presence from England can be felt again.
Shown in the photo, one of the multiple alleys that crisscross the Old Quarter. In the background the modern Panama skyline shows itself through the haze.
This is my favorite of your 3, Nugar. Wonderful perspective. You're getting great color and sharpness from your new cam. Money well spent, I'd say. But we expect great shots from you, regardless of which camera you are using. -Philio Vance
Thanks Rod :) Today, as I contemplated a no-post challenge, I decided to make a round trip to the Bridge, then Casco Viejo and finally Panama La Vieja. But something told me to get a widish lens, so I took the Kit lens, which is my widest one so far.
Good lens, although it feels a bit... *fake* after the larger Tamron. I don't like that it has variable aperture. So you set it to 3.5, zoom in and bam! Another aperture gets set :(
But as you see, it is in fact capable of giving good imagery.

Fantastic shot Humberto, beautiful colours & depth. I love them old lamp posts & wrought iron balcony railings. Shot with the kit lens too. Very well done I love this shot.
How do you find the kit lens Humberto?

Very nice. I like the contrast between old and new. And the bright colors are great!
