Really good...although it reminds me of my pre-cataract surgery days. ;^). The light reflection in the water is especially nice. -dtallakson

Great Image. The crop did help a lot.

You guys are right about the cropping.

I like this one a lot as an image and pretty well given the topic too. If only the stump demanded just a little less attention it would be perfect I think. I'm just not sure a crop of the stump would enhance though as I like the "whirlpool" like effect with the OOF surrounding the sharp. That colored bokeh sure looks nice.

I agree with CJ. This would be a gem, if the lower (out of focus) part of the trunk was cropped.

I like this and fits your topic but I think it might be stronger if most of the OOF bottom part of the stump were cropped off as it takes up so much of the frame it dominates the image. CJ

My reaction (before reading other comments) was that there is a good balance between the pull of the focused stump and the bight sparkle and color of the skyline. After reading the comments, the balance seems to favor the stump, but not really a problem. -tv

It's hard not to study the in focus portion of this picture. The beautiful scene of a skyline is more of an added bonus. -Doug

That tree stump looking thingy looks so interesting I'm seeing it as a focal point. Mind you me head is still spinning from taking so many oof picys:-)
