Anyone who's read Overboard knows that it's CHF (Comic/Hilarity Factor) is off the charts. The tragedy is that his two collections are so difficult to find. We should start a letter-writing campaign to Andrews McMeel DEMANDING that reprints -- or new collections -- be published.

Chip, I can't tell you how much enjoyment your strip brings me. I've read it every day for years and so wish I could buy all of them in books. You are the BEST!

I have GoComics too on my desktop here in England - totally loving Overboard's understated humour and those 'naïve' drawings that convey so much with so little; Louie helplessly in thrall to Nate's burgers out there on the seas. Insane. Wonderfully insane. :-)

I think Overboard is the best comic I read every day and I read a great number. Mr Dunham has talent, and we are fortunate he is willing to share with us.

I am looking for the Overboard cartoon that had a bee on the door knob that kept the crew in the cabin while the pirates pillaged the ship. Anyone know where I can find it?

Overboard is the only reason we get our paper...but, now we get it every morning on GoComics...I have to forward it to two people. I wrote the publisher of his book and asked, no pleaded, for another Overboard book but he said there isn't enough interest....I don't believe that. I lovelovelovelovelove that strip.

Overboard was in our strip in Atlanta. I could not start my day without it. When we moved to Florida I suffered horrible withdrawal until I went online, have it on my desktop, and can click the first thing every morning and find out what Louie is up to and those hilarious mice. Thanks Chip

Overboard is the only reason we get our horrible Freep....but, we get it online, too. Have written to McNeel and the editor says there aren't enough inquiries for another book...we do have A Boatload of Louie. This is by far the best strip ever written and we can't start out day without it.

OVERBOARD is the ONLY reason I subscribe to our crumby daily newspaper. I even cut out the daily strip and have a huge scrap book going. I've only told a couple of people about this daily activity. They have avoided me since so apparently it didn't fall into the normal zone. Since then it's been my secret pleasure. P.S. I am the proud owner of all three OVERBOARD books.

I love Overboard. It is my favourite comic strip. I think the whole bunch of characters are terrific, entertaining--a blast! Louie is so cute--and those mice such as Jonas? They are so cool!

We love Overboard, everything in it. It is wonderful, those micies, Louie, Raymond, those rabbits, etc, just everything. Oh, why can't there be books with all the strips in them like the ones from Hagar or Snoopy. We start our day with Overboard...........J. Johnson Michigan

It's almost 2008 and still no new book planned by Chip Dunham. He must have plenty of material since his last publication in 1992. Why isn't there any plans for such a release. I'm sure it would be very popular.

Overboard is the best strip in the Sunday Denver Post. What am I missing in the November 11 Sunday strip. I do not understand it, possibly because I do not recognize the gray object with the round door. Help? (And thank you.)

I'm curious about Chip Dunham's Labrador Retriever. He must own at least one! I have a yellow and a black and these dogs could be models for the comic strip. The yellow is like Louie -- feed me, get off my couch, fill my pool. The black is the one figuring out ways to get the 'frigerator door open. He has his own agenda. This comic strip is the only reason I have continued my subscription to the local newspaper.

I have both books and I was lucky to get them. They are getting rarer every day. I keep going back to these books. They are so funny. I wish we could get Mr Durham to make another book.
