Yet another dog-lovin' cartoonist. There still aren't enough.

Adam is a terrific strip. You can't help but suspect that it's deeply autobiographical, in which case both condolences and congratulations are warranted. Over the years, the themes centered more and more on Adam as a work-at-home dad, evidently prompting a name change to Adam@home. How many of us haven't dreamed of working from home, like Adam? Do you hold those dreams after seeing Adam's day-to-day foibles? That that question can even be posed speaks volumes (six of them, to be more precise, of which four are shown below) about the merits of this wonderful strip. On the downside, I don't know if Basset can be forgiven for drinking YooHoo.

As if one winner's not enough, Basset fairly recently commenced another: Red and Rover. It reminds me of Patrick McDonnell's Mutts strip: utterly charming g-rated fun for the whole family.
