Kill...kill...kill...kill..... sorry Christine, going to disagree with you for once!! I usually like creepiy-crawlies and beasties but I have a psychotic dislike of wasps and hornets. I think...no, I KNOW....they are the devil incarnate...please treat this nest with extreme prejudice :o))

This reminds me that I haven't seen one of these this year (yet). Normally I find several, and I haven't seen many bald-faced hornets either :-( They are beautiful wasps. And this is a very cool photo. V
