Thank you AussieDawg, Nico, Tom, Jim H2 and Cindy, apologies for delay in acknowledging your comments, been up bush again building house frame.

Jim I did shoot a bunch of shots hoping to catch one of the crows or gulls in flight with that 'cell tower' as my key feature. ... so it sort-of was luck but with that effect intended.

I greyed out the buildings because they had brightly coloured distracting signs which tended to draw one's eye away from the key subject.

Thanks for commenting ~ Regards Bob

Truly unbelievable, please tell me you shot 500 pics to get this one shot. Nice cell tower, btw. Jim H2

Nice perspective, I also like the buildings being 'greyed out.

Also very nicely captured. Actually looks wider than 17mm... well done! Regards jnconradie

Nice one MelBob. I like the framing and the way the clouds seem to open up above it. --AussieDawg

Thanks Kelly and Lydia. This spot has become a place of photo opportunity for me. There are lots of gulls and crows cheeky enough to come within a few metres of you. This guy was almost at arms length from my lens.

I must admit to similar feelings Lydia.... hard to resist the temptation to place one's boot squarely in the 'nether region' at times... ;-)

Regards Bob

I hate seagulls (too aggressive), so this is the only view of them I enjoy. *grin* Nicely captured, Bob. His whole backside actually looks a tad bit like a weird animal's head with closed eyes and his mouth open (tail is the upper lip). The wings are his ears. I like colors. Good job, Bob. ~Lydia
