Dang, you're only kidding. In that case, my Modern Rockwell
(http://www.flickr.com/photos/graphicdetails/74529444/ )will have to stand as my most popular image, with 1,575 views, 121 people favoriting it, and 69 comments. That's ok, though, because I was pretty happy with that! LOL! ~ Lonnit
Thanks, Lonnit! :-) I put those numbers through a complex mathematical model, specially developed to evaluate photographs posted to flickr, and it proved conclusively that exactly 843 of the visitors might have been inclined to mark it a favourite if it was un-tilted. I am obviously only kidding! Thanks for the reply. :-) Regards jnconradie
What tilt - the shoreline is straight? LOL! Why did I tilt? Because that's the way I felt the scene. Perhaps it adds tension to the desolate scene. This image, BTW, is far and away the most viewed image in my gallery. I don't know why, but it has over 7,600 hits. The next most-viewed images come in at around 1,500 hits. But with all that, only 8 people count it as a favorite, and it has only garnered 2 comments. ~ Lonnit
Lonnit, in the interest of seeing if we can stir up a little bit of controversy at least :-) , please allow me to ask what made you decide to go with a deliberately tilted horizon? Wonderfully melancholic mood, by the way. Sort of sad and lonely and desolate at all the same time. Thanks for post. Regards jnconradie
