This is a wonderful aviation image, Melbob. Though I am not overly sure about its «On-Topicness» (except for the title, of course), Ias an aviator myselflove this picture. What surprises me is that you got that prop visibly spinning at 1/320s. Congratulations! db.
Thanks Julie, Nico and Paul. Yes it is a little too centred, I think when I cropped this I wanted to avoid a distracting bright spot... but must revisit it if time permits.

A very dramatic and nostalgic shot. On a minor note, I'd crop a bit off the bottom and left, making the plane a touch larger and moving it toward the lower left of the frame, so that it is moving up into the image. Well done. It immediately made think of some WWII movie... and I expect to see the next clip to be of anti-aircraft fire, or the enemy on its tail or something... Lots of drama and action. Regards jnconradie
