Wow, you've really cleaned it up, Trav. I like its graphic qualities, but now it hardly looks like a photo. Is that what you intended? In any case, it would be interesting to see the various versions next to each other. Would you consider putting them all in Pending?

Dearest Mary Anne: Point taken, there was sooooo much clean-up on this image. There were people on the beach that needed to be removed and I did this maybe not so well...it really bothered me to, the trash behind her elbow.
Gotta work now, but thank you very much for the motivation to give this another go.
This is certainly a unique approach to the topic, Trav. I can't imagine how much time this must have taken...but could you do a bit more and remove those annoying smudges behind her elbow? I'm enjoying seeing your efforts to "go outside the boundaries" of conventional photographic imagery, and your willingness to show even less than perfect stages along the way. We can all benefit from taking such chances.
