CSLR Challenge 87: Living Colour (hosted by Gayle Knowles)
Welcome to Challenge 87, Living Colour.
The rules are simple. Your subject must be living, your photo must be in colour.
So, what's on topic and what's not?
Cut flowers arent, nor are fruit and vegetables unless they're still on the original plant or in the ground. Leafy and dormant trees are, dead ones aren't.
People are, buildings aren't. Natural landscapes are, but if the focal point is man-made (ie, a hut), it will be deemed off topic.
As for colour (spelt with a "U" seeing your host is an Aussie), anything goes. BUT!!! I'd suggest using the colour rules we've worked on in previous challenges, simply to practise them. Complimentary colours, dominant colours, single colours, primary colours etc.
This topic isn't limited to natural settings. Bring your living colour subject indoors, shoot in a studio, play with artificial light, get creative with natural light. Or use the great outdoors as your studio.
Two simple rules.
I don't know where to put this.
I just can't vote this time.
we all said before that voting is hard and blabla.
but this time I might stay offline, cause I'm realy unable to pick just five.
many many congrats to all, both individualy and as the formation of the CSLR challenge group.just to say again that I'm very impressed.
best regards to you all.
