Well, Daniel, it turned out that I liked it so much I voted for it, and, interestingly enough, didn't vote for the other, which I originally thought I would! This image has been sooooo sorely neglected and unappreciated here. Where are all the comments? Sigh... This is good stuff. Just wanted to let you know that *I* appreciated it and give you the proper pat on the back for it. Like Arn's finger, it's real, it's honest, and it's technically imperfect, which just goes to support it's sincerity. You've got an image here that gets me interested in the subject. It makes me wonder. It's a good "story" shot, which is all too lacking in the majority of perfect little pretty pics. Keep at it!! {{{{{hugs!}}}}} ~ Lonnit

Whoever wrote this «nameless» comment: would you mind signing with your name or *personal* handle, so I could thank you for your—useful—remark... ?? — db.

best of your three- the expressions are great and tell a good story or two.

I'm not sure. I like it. But I think you've gone and spoiled me with the first! There's expression, there's story... I like the BW, that goes without saying - this could only have been BW. I think maybe b/c our subject is very low in the frame, that it's feeling a bit akward. I would have liked for you to have gotten a little lower angle of view, to raise him a bit higher, but still keep the waiter cropped as you did. The cropping of the waiter is perfect; more of his face would draw the story away from the patron. I wish I would have seen this one before the older gentleman shot b/c that one did bias me b/c it was so good. But this is a different type of shot and I'm trying to let it stand on its own. It actually is quite good, the more I look at it, but I'm still sticking with the lower angle concept. Good work! Thanks for sharing. :) ~ Lonnit
