Well, this puts an end to an ongoing question I've had...I now know there's no such thing as too cute when it's done right. This will put a satisfying grin on my face for days. -Michael

Yowza, this is sooo cute! What great expressions and positions. They really do look like they're watching a tennis match. --Melanie (mlynn)

Oh, wow! So the story just gets gooeyer! LOL! ;) Purrrfect little kittens indeed. :) ~ Lonnit

She LOVES them. I did a whole series the day we went to see our new kitten. They were sitting on a ledge attached to a scratching post, and they just sat there like good little kittens.

I second that. The breeder's gonna flip! This should be part of a calendar. Jim H.

Well, the siblingdom really shows in the expressions. Ok, so the in sync part's not that tough if you've got their attention. The bigger question, really, is how'd you get them to sit there in the first place? Has the breeder seen the pic yet? I bet s/he'll flip! ~ Lonnit

No Photoshop here, aside from cropping. If you can get the attention of a group of kittens, they are not that difficult to photograph "in-sync". These little ones were mesmerised by a bunch of keys being rattled and moved around in an arc behind my head. The little one whose face you can't see is our boy Bruno, with his brother James and sister Cadbury (in front). The pic was taken for the breeder.
Thanks for the comments!

Jim, I was born into cats, starting with Lucky #1, then Lucky #2, then Friskie, so I lived with a cat until adulthood. Friskie was huge on rubberbands, and would also bat my Hot Wheels cars off the track. So, I'm quite familiar with the cutitude. :) ~ Lonnit

I'll 4th the incredibly cute comment. Wonderful image all around, the composition, focus, DOF, background and all the work getting the kittens to stay still and pose like that. Great job Gayle!

Obviously, Lonnit, you're not really familiar with cats and kittens. If you've ever owned cats and a ping-pong table or cats and a slot car track, you'll know just what I mean :)

But this is, I'll admit, incredibly cute! Very well done, Gayle. Outstanding, really. All I can say is: "Awwwwww!" This is just perfect. Jim H.

Gayle, I'm going to have to say that this is so damn sickeningly cute that I am definitely going to vomit! I never thought a pic could be too cute, mut somehow you managed! LOL! Honestly, I just don't know what to make of this. It's perfect. It's astoundingly synchronized. It's everything it should be and you sure did you job astonishingly well. It's just that it's so goody-goodily, white-washed, white-bread, mayonaisely, sugar-coatedly, lollipoppingly, bubblegummily, perfect-little-girl-worldly, uncontroversially, cloyingly sweet, oversanitizedly pure, that I can't ingest it! I'm sure it would sell a zillion posters though. You've GOT to market this one.

So, do tell, is it real or is it Photoshop? You couldn't possibly have gotten 3 cats to do this in sync! Start 'splainin'! :) ~ Lonnit
